Statutory goals
In accordance with the Section 9 of 2nd Chapter of the Association’s Charter:
The aim of the Association is mentioned above socially useful activity:
1) giving assistance in all matters for the needy, the old, the sick, the lonely, the homeless, children from pathologic and poor families, the disabled, the unemployed and people in danger of being made redundant or people afflicted by elemental disasters,
2) rising awareness that society bears the responsibility for others,
3) creating equal educational chances for children and youths from rural environments,
4) supporting of self-governing educational establishments in the range of improving standard of education in rural areas,
5) supporting the education of gifted and talented rural youths,
6) activating of rural and unemployed environments by making them aware of the need and organizing of incessant education,
7) counteracting of pathologies among children and youths and supporting of pedagogically ineffective families,
8) raising the feeling of Samaritan duty of helping among young people,
9) propagating of widely understood help for others,
10) cooperation with all institutions and organizations by experience exchange, advocating of their activity and joint ventures in the range of giving assistance for others,
11) developing of contacts and cooperation between societies in the range of statutory activity.
Conducted activity:
- it has been keeping a stationary help house for seniors of The House of the Bright Autumn since 1995,
- it has been running humanitarian actions for people afflicted by the effects of elementary disasters,
- it has been running the action of supplying supplementary nutrition for children from poor and pathologic families in school canteens,
- it has been running a free rental of rehabilitating equipment,
- it has been running the activity in aid of the unemployed lying in the organization of trainings, professional preparations at workplace and temporary employment,
- it has been financing scholarships for gifted and talented youths from poor rural families,
- it has been cooperating with German non-governmental organization Arbeiter Samariter Bund by realizing help projects in aid of orphans, seniors and the disabled since 1997,
- it was an initiator of creation of The Samaritan Federation of Non-governmental Organization.
Achievements:
2005 - Honour in the contest for Marshall of Malopolska Voivodeship’s reward “Salt Cristals” for the best organizations which run the activity of public benefit of the social policy category
2001 - Honour of Malopolska Voivode for cooperation in solving problems in the range of social help
2000 - Semi-finalist of the Contest for the best civic initiative Pro Publico Bono
1999 - Member of the Contest for the best civic initiative of decade 1989 – 1999 Pro Publico Bono
1998 - Honour in the contest for Minister of Employment and Social Policy’s special reword
1996 - Honour in the contest for Minister of Employment and Social Policy’s special reword
